Every piece of jewellery is individually handmade in our Hatton Garden workshop using traditional craftsmanship and carefully selected materials.

We guarantee the quality of our workmanship for the lifetime of your jewellery.

If a fault occurs due to the way we have made your piece, we will repair it free of charge.

What Isn’t Covered

Our guarantee does not cover:

• Loss of jewellery.

• Theft.

• Accidental damage.

• Damage caused by impact or misuse.

• Excessive wear through everyday use over many years.

• Work carried out by another jeweller.

• Loss of gemstones following damage or impact.

Jewellery is designed to be worn and loved every day, but precious metals and gemstones naturally wear over time. Some repairs may therefore be chargeable if they fall outside our craftsmanship guarantee.

Keeping Your Guarantee Active

To help keep your jewellery in the very best condition, we ask that every Burt & Gurt piece is professionally inspected by us every three years.

During this complimentary inspection we will:

✓ Check all claws and stone settings.

✓ Check for loose diamonds or gemstones.

✓ Inspect solder joints.

✓ Examine wear to the shank and settings.

✓ Professionally clean and polish your jewellery.

✓ Advise you of any preventative maintenance that may be required.

These inspections help us identify small issues before they become expensive repairs and ensure your jewellery continues to be enjoyed for generations.

If a recommended repair is declined and damage later occurs as a result, this may affect your Lifetime Guarantee.
