Shipping & Returns
All our jewellery is checked at the workshop before it is sent to our customers we do not hold a large amount of stock and like to keep our inventory levels to a manageable quantity. This is so each item is thoroughly looked after from the moment you make your order to when it reaches your hands.
For UK customers our preferred shipment is with Royal Mail Signed For.
For International Customers we use DHL and is an additional £20 for shipment.
Burt and Gurt Jewellery prides structural integrity of all jewellery.
We recommend you add your jewellery to a trusted insurance policy to protect you against loss, damage or theft.
Should repairs be needed, it is the client’s responsibility to ship b(tracked) and insure the piece(s); Burt and Gurt Jewellery will return your item via insured shipment such as Royal Mail.
Main center stones are not under warranty, please insure your piece.
We will replace small diamonds within the first 6 months (1.7mm and smaller) free of charge. Should there be damage to the piece (missing prong, etc), Burt and Gurt Jewellery will replace the diamonds/stones at cost to the client.
For other stones Burt an Gurt Jewellery can be replaced at cost + shipping to the client. Please be mindful that there are certain gemstones that have a more delicate hardness and can easily crack or chip if they are not cared for properly. Emeralds are considered a brittle stone and can chip as well.
For all bespoke pieces unfortunately these are non refundable however your item can be rendered at an agreed cost.
